The Orientation aims to:
- update the DepEd regional and division offices about the progress and implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Program;
- ensure that K to 12 Speakers Bureau and Coordinators are available in each division to inform, update and answer queries from the public; and
- establish a stronger linkage between the central and field offices.
The participants to this activity are the members of the K to 12 Speakers Bureau (schools division/city superintendents (SDSs) and regional directors (RDs) who were trained on January 2011 and at least one (1) division coordinator per division.
The Program of Activities is contained in the enclosure.
The expenses relative to this event including the transportation and accommodation shall be charged to local funds, maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) or special education fund (SEF) subject to accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
