The Asian Chess Federation and the National Chess Federation of the Philippines will conduct the following Seminars at the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) AV Room, PSC Complex, Pasig City:

FIDE Trainers SeminarMarch 15-19, 2013
  • To educate chess trainers in the proper method of teaching chess to various levels and ages
  • At the end of the seminar, the participants shall be given an examination required for a successful examinees to secure the FIDE Trainer and FIDE Instructor titles.
FIDE Arbiters SeminarMarch 22-24, 2013
  • To train chess tournament arbiters in the interpretation of the FIDE Laws of Chess and other regulations such as Titles and Ratings, Swiss System Pairings, How to Conduct a Chess Tournament and the Use of Chess Clock
  • At the end of the seminar, the participants shall be given an examination required for successful examinees to secure the FIDE Arbiter and International Arbiter titles.
