This listing is for a set (Qty:2) of improved replacement trucks for a HO Scale MDC Roundhouse 360 Shay and for the diehard scratch builders. These trucks have been designed with the latest technology in CAD software and 3D printing. Countless hours have gone into the design and testing process to address and fix the many well known issues with the factory original MDC Shay trucks (Such as, bottom cover failing to stay in place, resulting in binding or rough and jerky operation of the locomotive, gear slippage, poor tolerances, excessive wheel play and overall weak construction). The end result in my need for perfection is a very well engineered, strong, reliable and smooth operating truck that you would want and expect to have on any well built locomotive. I also designed these trucks with the convenience and ability to utilize some of the well made original parts from your existing trucks. Such as, original worm gear and shaft, driveshaft coupling, left and right sideframes, geared wheelsets, as well as the original electrical wipers. Items included in this sale: 2 Truck gear housings, 2 Wheel and worm gear shaft retainers, 2 Gear covers, 8 #1-72 Screws and 2 #2-56 Screws Items in above pictures that are NOT included in this sale: Worm gear shaft, Worm gear shaft shims, Driveshaft coupling, Left and right sideframes, Geared wheelsets and Electrical wipers Please allow for 5-7 days after purchase for us to print and assemble your item. Typically, items will be shipped sooner than this, but please keep in mind that some of our items do take several hours to print out.
