"The UK, Australia and America has the Storytellin version of these out briefly back in the 1980's but it is extremely rare to see Japanese version which were called Sound Parties. Not many of them are around now and even less complete with original box. I am not sure if this was ever played with prior to me buying it as there are no signs of wear and tear.Made back in 1985 and in good working condition. I have tested it and it is working. He has his original casette, outfit, paperwork, packaging and box. Although these were aimed for children, I wouldn't give them to small children as they are more of a collectible item now given their age. These toys do not make sound. They pick up sound and move their mouths and eyes and is in perfect working condition. The arms and legs can be moved but the heads don't turn on these. They are approximately 17cm tall approx. The battery compartment is clean with no corrosion and the toy in very good conditon. With no marks on his body. The flocking is even with no scuffs. I am not sure if he has faded a bit due to age but otherwise is in perect condition. Needs 2 x AA batteries to operate (not included). I used a couple of fairly new batteries I had to test it but I would imagine you would need to use good batteries to get it to work well as some cheaper ones I tried had very little effect. I was able to get her eyes to open and close and mouth to move with having the speaker with no issues. To operate you put him near a speaker and he picks up the sound and his mouth opens and closes and eyes move up and down. These are quite rare in this condition and I had to import him from Japan. Whats included are All Original Items: * Bear* Outfit * Paperwork* Original Packaging & Box I gave him a quick clean with a soapy damp (not saturated) cloth wiped over him. I also gave the outfit a quick hand wash to freshen it up. I don't have the space to collect toys any longer so have been listing things to clear space."
