The World Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation (WAPR), Philippines will conduct the 2nd Asia-Pacific Conference on Psychosocial Rehabilitation, 27th Post-Graduate Course and the 22nd Mid-Year Conference of the Philippine Psychiatric Association with the theme "Reaching the Unreached: Islands of Hope" on July 28-30, 2011 at the Dusit Thani Manila in the Central Business District in Makati City. The conference aims to stimulate discussion and debate among the participants on the issues and challenges of mental health and psychological rehabilitation because this is one of the most neglected yet essential development issues.

The mental health professionals and members of various government and social-civic groups are invited to attend this activity.
