The University of the Philippines Economics Society (UP ECOSOC) and the
UP School of Economics Student Council (UP SESC) will conduct the 8th
National Youth Congress (NYC) entitled " Thinkonomics: The Marketplace
of Perceptions Congress" on August 26-27, 2011 at the PLDT Multimedia
Lecture Hall at EEE Institute, University of the Philippines (UP),
Diliman, Quezon City.
The congress aims to: - provide high school students an engaging introduction to the field of economics; and
- instill in them the power and relevance of economics analysis and the economic way of thinking in clarifying relevant issues in the society.
The participants to this activity are the high school students from both public and private schools.
