The Data Science Technology Corporation (DSTC) will conduct the
International Digital Science Education Forum on October 4, 2013 at the
Auditorium of the University of the Philippines-National Institute of
Science and Mathematics Education Development (UP-NISMED), UP, Diliman,
The Forum aims to:
serve as an avenue for teachers and school leaders to be updated with the modern technology-aided instructional resources and approaches to teaching K to 12, primarily Science and Technology related to robotics;
help them make Science learning relevant, fun and not intimidating for students;
expose them and their students to a creative real science with global unique collaboration; and
impart to them how to maximize the use of the time allotted to a subject in a way where students can get adequate instructional time or time on task.
The target participants to this activity are teachers and school leaders from both public and private schools nationwide. The symposium and exhibit is free for science teachers and school heads.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of¬classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
