The Children’s Literature Association of the Philippines (CLAP), Inc.
will hold the Seminar-Workshop on Story Writing and Storytelling for
Kids with the theme " Write a Story and Tell it to Your Kids” on November
10-12, 2011 at the Teachers Camp, Baguio City.
This event aims to: - develop among the participants the art of story writing and storytelling for children;
- write, tell and present their own stories for their pupils and students; and
- instill the love for books and reading to their kids.
The participants to the seminar-workshop are public elementary and secondary school teachers (preferably in English and Filipino) or teacher-librarians from Metro Manila. The registration fee of Three Thousand Pesos (PhP3,000.00) will be charged to each participant to cover the expenses for accommodation, meals, kits, certificates and honoraria of the resource speakers.
