Conference on Philippine Culture

The Brown Movement for Cultural Advancement, Inc. or Kilusang Kayumanggi wi11 hold the Conference on Philippine Culture on May 7, 2011 at the National Library Auditorium, T.M. Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila.
The conference aims for the participants to:
  1. preserve indigenous beliefs, rituals and traditions;
  2. document vanishing cultural traditions and landmarks;
  3. update them on the approaches in teaching Philippine culture;
  4. assess the impact of mass media and the arts on Philippine Culture today; and
  5. sustain the impact of the positive values of the Filipinos and the positive image of the Philippines to the world.
The participants to this activity are teachers, professionals, cultural workers and college students.
