The Philippine Association for Teacher Education (PAFTE) will conduct
its 40th National Convention with the theme "PAFTE at 40: Leading in the
Formation of the Multiliterate Teacher Educator of the 21st Century" on
October 17-19, 2011 at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
The convention aims to:
The participants to this activity are the resource teachers in the field study courses and cooperating teachers for practice teachers from both public and private schools nationwide.
- enable the participants to develop a mental portrait of the multiliterate teacher-educators/professional teachers;
- inspire them more to become multiliterate teacher-educators/professional teachers;
- update them on the developments and plans in the K to 12 curriculum and on issues related to teacher development and licensure; and
- establish linkages with and renew professional ties with other participants.
A registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00) shall be charged to each participant inclusive of convention materials, lunch (2) and snacks (4), and PAFTE news and views.
