The Philippine Association for Teacher Education (PAFTE) will conduct
its 40th National Convention with the theme "PAFTE at 40: Leading in the
Formation of the Multiliterate Teacher Educator of the 21st Century" on
October 17-19, 2011 at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
The convention aims to:
enable the participants to develop a mental portrait of the multiliterate teacher-educators/professional teachers;
inspire them more to become multiliterate teacher-educators/professional teachers;
update them on the developments and plans in the K to 12 curriculum and on issues related to teacher development and licensure; and
establish linkages with and renew professional ties with other participants.
The participants to this activity are the resource teachers in the field study courses and cooperating teachers for practice teachers from both public and private schools nationwide.
A registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00) shall be charged to each participant inclusive of convention materials, lunch (2) and snacks (4), and PAFTE news and views.
