"Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Sansui 1000X. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Sansui 1000X driver board, preamp board, phono EQ board, two power supply boards, three tuner boards, four chassis-mount capacitors, and the two .068 capacitors underneath (not pictured, but included). This does not include output transistors, lights, or fuses. If you need new output transistors, the correct replacements are MJ21194G and are available here. This kit includes the following: Driver board: 14 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film) 6 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Phono EQ/source selector board: 10 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film) 4 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Two power supply boards: 6 capacitors (Nichicon, Panasonic FC) Preamp/tone control board: 12 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film) 4 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) 3 Tuner boards: 16 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film) Other: 4 chassis-mount capacitors (Epcos, the exact correct size for the original clamps) 2 .068 yellow axial film capacitors Instructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I rebuild Sansui equipment. The transistors are the correct subs for the originals, and the capacitors are mostly the same capacitance (uf) and the same or higher voltage. The chassis-mount capacitors go up a bit on capacitance and go up substantially on voltage in order to fit the clamps perfectly. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester. This kit may not fix your Sansui, but it's pretty likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. If you have a background crackle or hum, this will probably take care of it.
