After replacing the force touches sensor on my watch it won’t charge.

After replacing the force touches sensor on my watch it won’t charge.

I replaced the force touch sensor on my Apple Watch due to the screen coming loose. Now when I charge it, the watch connects and acts like it is charging but does not charge. What do I need to do?
