Can you Help me?

I have an Android Tablet from Verizon it was working fine all day had at least 80% left on the battery but when I went to go into my game as usual it just froze wouldn't let me touch anything nor would it do anything. Then after I just set it down it went black and wont turn on ever since. I've tried the power button and volume button trick but it didn't work.

On the side there is a little seam. Use a credit card or something similar to gently pry the back cover off. Once opened, you will see the battery with two cables connected to it. Unplug the white plastic plug for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Do NOT remove the ribbon cable. Snap the back on and then turn it on after you charge it back up. Enjoy!

It might have to do with the battery being the issue. It could be that the battery is not working right, or for some reason the connection between battery and motherboard is disconnected. If the battery is disconnected, then that is easy to fix yourself. Just remove the back of the tablet to see if the battery is connected all the way.

"I had similar problem. It is an older ellipsis. Not even sure if it was a 7. The battery symbol came on when plugged in but stayed at 0% charged. I tried holding power button down, holding it down with volume button down. Nothing worked. Then I tried disconnected battery for 1 minute. Reconnecting and plugged in charger. SOLVED! Battery starting charging right away.

Note: It was a lot more difficult to take the back cover off than YOUTUBE videos show. Very hard snaps. I had to take a very thin blade metal trowel to get it started near a corner. Then used a plastic stiff wedge type tool to unsnap the cleats one at a time. Once the cover was off and battery was exposed, it was not obvious how it disconnected because there were no obvious ribbon plugs connected to it. I figured out that at the top end was a tab that was attached to battery and was screwed down against the mother board. That was the battery connection..... a simple contact type connection held in place by the two very small screws. Hope this helps those with similar issues that have tried everything else."

Try holding down the power button for at least 10 seconds and that should restart the tablet and then it should power on for you with no problem

"Hi Bella reilly,

Don't know your tablet but look for a app in your apps menu list called File Manager or something similar.

Open it and then use it to navigate to where you downloaded the file to. Once you have found the downloaded file, tap on it (or double tap) and hopefully the file will be opened."
