changed cartridge and now the printer is stuck on Cleaning Head

changed cartridge and now the printer is stuck on Cleaning Head Change the cartridge but it won't print. IT keeps saying "cleaning head and I'm losing inks. I have lost 3 cartridge already, it just keeps draining all my ink and not printing.
