My flash is not working. There is a spark when I take a picture When I take a picture with my flash a spark comes out of the flash.

Does the flash look physically ""broken"" at all?

If so search online for Canon PowerShot SX230 HS flash replacement.

There are a number of results where the supplier offers the replacement part and also help with self installation.
