Why is my camera saying "out of memory?"

@laney916 you did not tell us if you used the memory card in this camera before. You said that "it is empty" I assume that you have not used it. I would start by formatting it. Download your cameras manual from here. Check page 34 to start.

If its new camera and you don’t have a memory card inserted you will only be able to take 4 pictures and any additional picture after that you will get this message. Camera out of memory. So delete some of the 4 pictures and try again.

"I figured out the issue everyone is having...

- I put the 16 GB Card in a few times making sure it got that ""click"" sound....

- Didn't Work...

- I Put the Card in again but this time it didn't ""click""...

- I turned on the Camera it asked me to format the Card so I did and now it works just fine...

So the problem is a connection problem with the pins and the ""clicking mechanism""... ***

If you Slide the Card in all the way with ""no click"" and the Card stays there then Success!!
