How to run wires through a hole in ABS while keeping it waterproof?

How to run wires through a hole in ABS while keeping it waterproof? I have a ABS tube one end caped off and the other end has a screw on lid. I'm trying to run some wires through the screw on cap but how can Imake it waterproof for cheap?

Make the hole as small as possible and once the wires are run seal around the with silicon sealer or epoxy. Ralph
