Ink Carriage will not move into CHANGE INK CARTRIDGE position

Hello. My ink carriage will not move so I can change the ink cartridges. I pressed the “Stop” button like the manual says for 6 seconds but it says “invalid operation” and doesn’t move. Thanks for helping!
