needs to be reset every other wash My whirlpool gold dishwasher needs to be reset every other wash, any idea what is wrong?

Tony, without the model number I can't be certain, but this could be an error code. Some dishwashers will throw error codes this way. Allowing you to run the dishwasher 1,2,3 or more times before shutting down. Your owners manual should explain these errors. If it was a serious problem the dishwasher wouldn't come back on. Reply back with the complete model number if you can't find help in the owners manual.
