Ranger wont start aftyer replacing fuel pump.

Ranger wont start aftyer replacing fuel pump. Check engine light goes out when cranking, good spark. Tried jumping across the starter relay with no luck.

I'm having the same problem. I wasn't getting no fuel pressure in my fuel rails so I put a new fuel pump in it but it still doesn't have pressure and won't start. Please help

Have you checked the relay? If relay good. Need to replace the ecm . Did it run rough? Then ran good? Change ecm with one from another car like yours. Check pull a part. They have a website for interchangeable parts. Good luck

Ensure there is no air in the fuel line, as that would create a vapor lock. Also make sure the pump is getting power and works correctly.
