Why is my Xbox one s turning off after turning it on

So when I turn on my Xbox then about 4-7 seconds it turn off? I’m think it’s something with the motherboard or the power supply this started about a week ago and had my Xbox over a year now.

This is typical a protection either in the power supply - you need to reset it. But in the video it is obvious that the fan is not spinning, the fan in the XBox One S spins immediately after startup.

I was having the same issue. I legit took a blow dryer and blew out the top of where the fan spins.. It turned on for me. Not sure how long it was last me.

The blower thing worked for me. I have a thing called the CompuCleaner, basically a hair dryer w/o the heating element. I just blasted it all around the vents in the console for a few seconds and the Xbox finally would boot up.

The HDD is on the same power line as the HDMI Port, so if the HDD has failed the Xbox will not remain on and will give no dispaly. My issue was that the xbox turned on for a few seconds, I had no display, then it just turned off again. After replacing the HDD it tuned on directly to the system error screen as I did not have the OS installed on the new HDD. Hopefully that works for some of you.
