Why isn't my GPS charging?

Why isn't my GPS charging? I plug my GPS into the car's outlet, however, the GPS will not charge. What could be the cause of this problem?

My Port got broken is there anyway we can fix it if so pls suggest me. and also the tools which i need to use for opening and fixing it
