Ac vent sounds blocked after running ac for a while

Ac vent sounds blocked after running ac for a while After having my ac run for 20mins or so it will stop blowing out of vents and make a pound sound as it if blocked. If I turn the ac off for a minute or two then turn it back on it will work again. Fan speed not touched. Have replaced expansion valve.
