Will not turn on but will for a while after rubbing in battery slot.

DMC-FX01 newer camera stopped turning on. Rubbed connecters and pushed on spring in battery slot and got it to turn on and take a few photos. Did not last. Door and latch looks ok. Do not have an ac adapter for either. Have 2nd camera same model works fine and use 2 batteries switched out and charged. Both batteries work in my working unit.
