I'd be curious what the resolution to this was. My 65" Vizio started doing the same exact thing which is turning on and operating fine and then after 2 minutes, the picture turns off and sounds continues.

@dougseal looks like the question you left this as a comment to, has become deserted. Let us know what model your TV is and what you have tried. Vizio is known for bad connectors on their boards and sometimes a resolder can fix the issue. For that, we would need to see all of your boards. That would require you to remove the back of your TV and to take a couple of good pictures.
