both freezer & refrigerator go to >55F.

both freezer & refrigerator go to >55F. We are having similar problems with our Profile Bottom Freezer PFSF2MIXBWW. For us, both freezer & refrigerator go to >55F. It appears related to auto defrost. It seems to be a control problem. When operating properly, it can maintain 0F freezer / 40F refrigerator. It just seems to always be defrosting. I just posted a new question about this.

"Don @dmacune. Here are some things to check.

The most common cause for intermittent temperature changes, as well as a slight rise in temperature, sometimes only enough to cause ice cream to soften is dirty condenser coils. They are under the refrigerator, accessible by removing the rear access panel. They need to be vacuumed at least once a year. Dirty coils can cause major issues.

Do you notice frost on the rear wall inside the freezer or fresh food section? Any water under the crispers? Check the door gaskets for tears clean with warm water, wipe the area the gasket seat to. The fan underneath by coils, and the fan/s inside freezer and fresh food-should all run at the same time and that’s when the compressor is running

A long defrost can be caused by a failing defrost thermostat/sensor or the control board. The tech sheet is located beside the front toe plate. It will have the information on the resistance of the sensor, heater and at what pins on the board to test the board. If your knowledgeable on how to rest a multimeter and a wiring diagram you won’t have any problem. Otherwise, I’d suggest scheduling aservice call.

Clean the coils first. Give it several days to adjust and the pressures equalize. Then see how it cools for a few days."
