CB flicks rapidly between RX and TX when I key the mic with linear tur

CB flicks rapidly between RX and TX when I key the mic with linear tur
My cb works just fine until I turn on my linear then when I key up it flicks rapidly back and forth between RX and TX. If I hold the mic close to the radio it stops. Any idea what might be causing this problem?
