I get water at the door but the ice dispenser stopped working

I get water at the door but the ice dispenser stopped working I have a GE model GSHF6HGDBCWW. I am able to get water at the door but the ice maker stopped working. I thought the ice maker was frozen so I removed it cleaned it out but no water went to the ice maker. I waited overnight but no water to be frozen made it to the ice maker. I have seen on this forum where the opposite is happening quite regularly, does anyone think this is a valve issue?
