LG model 47LG70- blank screen after whistling sound from inside
While watching, screen went blank (I think sound continued). Turned off, then back on, and it worked for a few minutes before repeating. Let it rest a few hours, then it worked again for a few minutes before emitting a whistle/buzzing sound that went from a high pitch to a low pitch over about 5 seconds—then went off.
ANSWERS:
Can you take the back off the TV and check for any leaky or bulged capacitors? I have attached a picture below.
