Motor cycles on and off in wash spin cycle. Runs for 10-15 seconds .

Older 2 speed motor. Model 110.92581200. Is there a sensor on the motor which could shut it down and restart after it cools? Problem starts in wash/spin cycle. Everything else seems to work. Takes several hours to empty in spin cycle.
