My LG TV won't turn on there is a white light at the bottom of the tv

Hi I have recently been given a LG-42LE4500-ZA without a remote when I try and turn it on you hear clicking and the led lights up at the bottom of the tv but no picture or sound just a white light at the bottom of the tv what do I do can this be fixed thanks
