No picture when you switch on

No picture when you switch on When you switch on you get a red blinking light. When you switch off at the plug it still blinks for a few minutes then stops. I then leave it off for a good few minutes and switch on and first get e red blinking light, then a green light but no picture . After a while it switches back to a blinking red light. ANSWERS:
