Power light comes on and cuts off when plugged in

Power light comes on and cuts off when plugged in My infocus in3116 projector died. No power at all. I replaced the power board and now when I plug it in the power light comes on red instead of Amber and immediately cuts off. When it cuts off all of the error lights flash also. Any idea what is wrong? ANSWERS:
