power up and state that it is a toshiba TV but then would go to black.
This same exact thing happened to me tonight.

I don't have the same problem, my TV is working, the screen is broken so if there is someone who wants to buy it or who wants to sell theirs. Thank you.
Hi Damon - Probably a little late but are you still looking for a screen for your TV? It’s a 55” correct? Mine is in perfect condition other than the fact it will only power up as far as the splash screen then shuts down so I know the screen and backlight are fine. I’m sure shipping wouldn’t be cheap on something that big but if you want to give me your ZIP code (I’m in CO - 80301) we can check what the cost would be to send it via the different carriers and see if it would make sense to ship anyway.
