The freezer has stopped getting cold

The freezer has stopped getting cold I have a Samsung French door refrigerator with bottom freezer model# RFG297AARS my problem is that the freezer has stopped getting cold and sounds as if condincer fan or motor having to work harder when plugged in yet the upper refrigerator part stays cool and works still? Any feed back is much appreciated thanks
