The power is on LED lit up but screen is dark.
I have a similar issue Toshiba 49l310u. Seems the power is on LED lit up but screen is dark.
ANSWERS:
"Mike Oldenburg if you are saying that the power LED is on but the screen is black, you need to let us know if you have sound on any channel. Disconnect your power cord from the electrical outlet and hold the power button down for something like a1 minute then reconnect the power cord. try to turn you TV on. You want to go ahead and connect a local input source like a DVD BR or even game console. Let us know if those changed anything. When you have the black screen use a flashlight and shine the light at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out the onboard menu etc. while doing so.. If none of this works, remove the back from your TV and look at the power board, main board etc. to see if there are any obviously damaged looking components. to assist you with that post some good pictures of what you see with your question. Adding images to an existing question .
Ultimately this could be an issue with any board on the inside your TV and we would need you to test the boards with a multimeter. Again pictures will help us to further assist you."
