Timer won't shut dryer off

Timer won't shut dryer off My dryer will dry clothes fine and heats up correctly after setting it up on a cycle. However, the drum keeps turning after the cycle is complete. It shuts off when I open the door but comes back on when I close it. I have to keep door open to not waste energy. What can I do to fix this issue? ANSWERS:
