TV not working after power surge

This is specifically a Panasonic TH-58PZ800U. I got this behemoth for free off craigslist when it stopped working after a power surge caused by a lightning storm. It DOES turn on, but only the backlight, no information seems to getting to the screen, just black backlight. If it’s relevant, the remote does turn it on and off, however whether the other functions on it (volume, input, etc.) work is unknown because the tv, for all intents and purposes, just turns on and off. I’ve opened the back up and there are no apparent (at least to me) fuses blows or anything to that effect, everything *looks* fine, the fans even turn on and off with the tv. Any ideas? (I’ve tried the obvious things, on and off, unplug/replug, hold power for a minute, etc.)

ANSWERS:

@markdk if your power board works, which it does seem to based on your information, check the A board (that is the board with all the inputs). Of course you checked F201, F301, F601, F602, F801, F802 and F803 for continuity. Post some good pictures of the boards so we can see more of the components. The one you posted are a bit small to make out the components. Also, the Panasonic Plasma TV’s love their fans. Use a Vacuum and clean your board and fans. You did not tell us if the Power LED turned on or if you are getting some error code blink from it.
