Where are the 4x4 actuator vacuum line attachments located?

Where are the 4x4 actuator vacuum line attachments located? I have a 1989 Dodge Dakota. There is a stopper on the other end of my big line. The 4x4 doesn't work and the engine dies a lot. Is that the same problem?
