Why does my Panasonic TC-P42X1 tv not turn on.
My tv will only turn on if I hold the power button for 3 seconds and then push it again. It doesn’t always work. Sometimes I repeat the process for up to 10 minutes before it will turn on. Then it works fine until it shuts off again.

"Linda Dirks appears to be a power board issue. You do want to go ahead and remove the back from your TV. (unplugged of course) and take a look at the boards. Check for any burned or otherwise damaged looking component.
