Why does my washer fill and then not agitate or spin?
I suspected the lid switch so I temporarily bypassed it. Before screwing everything back together, I turned the dial to the washing zone and the agitator worked, then turned it to the spin zone and the spin worked. Feeling awesome, I put it together, loaded soap and clothes, set the dial to the beginning of the cycle and pulled the knob. It filled and then began agitating although it appeared the agitator was not moving much. After about two or three minutes, the washer stopped and now will do nothing. I've been deflated! Any suggestions?
