Why is my LG TV 52" locked?,

Why is my LG TV 52" locked?, My tv keeps saying "key lock on" everytime i press a button which means i cant get into menu, remote also wont dobthe job. It happend before and i had to pay to send it to a company to get it off. Surely theres an easier way without paying? ANSWERS:
