Why is the washer heating my cold water wash cycle?
If I put my washer onto a cold/cold cycle, my clothes still come out hot. I even shut off the hot water inlet going into the unit to prevent this. Could this be a ATC problem?
ANSWERS:
Sounds like you're getting hot water from the cold water inlet. This could happen if the water hose connections have been reversed. Try running on a hot cycle, if I'm correct the water will be cold.
sounds like your mixer is bad. I had that happen and just turned off my tankless water heater to get cold water when I realized my mixer was bad
