Why is there a vertical purple line in the middle of the screen

Why is there a vertical purple line in the middle of the screen Tv worked fine until I put it screen down on bed to attach wall mounting device for wall mount, once I put it on the wall mount and powered it up this purple vertical line appeared in middle of the screen. ANSWERS:
