The winners were selected from the 175 nominees from various public and private educational institutions in the Philippines, of which forty (40) qualified as regional finalists. Then, twenty (20) of the regional finalists were selected to become the national finalists.
The winners will be conferred with gold medallions and plaques by His Excellency President Benigno S. Aquino in Malacanang Palace. They will be presented with plaques and cash prizes.
