The Convention and Seminar-Workshop aim to:
- revisit the Technological Livelihood Education (TLE) and Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan (EPP) Curriculum in the light of the K to 12 Basic Education Program;
- enhance the competencies of TLE and EPP teachers in integrating the 21st Century Core Skills in the teaching-learning process; and
- strengthen linkages with the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) and other technical-vocational (Tech Voc) training institutions for technical support.
The target participants to this activity are regional and division supervisors in Home Economics (HE), Nutrition, Alternative Learning System (ALS), Technical and Vocational Education coordinators, administrators, department heads and teachers, instructors and professors of HE, EPP and TLE from both public and private schools, colleges, universities and livelihood education-oriented agencies.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
