25th National Convention of the World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI)

The World Council for Curriculum and Instruction (WCCI) will hold its 25th National Convention with the theme, "Defining Democracy, Freedom and Entrepreneurship in an Asian-Pacific Context" on May 4-6, 2011 at the San Juan de Letran College, 151 Muralla St., Intramuros, Manila. This Convention aims to:

1. encourage, facilitate and strengthen collaboration in curriculum and instruction projects in the areas of democracy and entrepreneurship as these relate to peace education and academic areas in different levels;
2. inspire active involvement in existing programs, projects, and initiatives towards democracy and entrepreneurship in the Asian-Pacific context; and
3. enhance academic and socio-cultural networking efforts on an Asian-Pacific level.
