Uber Is Introducing a Grocery Delivery Service
"The demand for grocery deliveries has skyrocketed since shelter-in-place orders took affect months ago. It's been hard to land a delivery time with companies like Amazon Fresh and Instacart due to the overwhelming amount of people trying to order their groceries.

Uber announced the launch of its new grocery delivery service, which will hopefully help people get their groceries quicker without needing to order at midnight to land a time.
In partnership with Cornershop, Uber will be testing the program in Miami and Dallas starting later this month, as well as select cities in Latin America and Canada. It isn't clear what the delivery fee will be, but Uber Eats and Eats Pass members will receive free delivery on orders over $30.
When an order is placed, it'll be fulfilled by a Cornership team member and delivered to your door. You'll be able to track the delivery as well as request a no-contact experience.

""Over the last six months, it's become increasingly clear that grocery delivery is not only popular, but often a necessity,"" Uber wrote in a blog post. ""We expect to see this trend continue as people across the world look for new ways to save time and stay safe.""
Uber says the new grocery delivery features will be rolled out for the rest of the U.S. in the coming months.
