In line with the Aquino Health Agenda for a truly Universal Health Care for all Filipinos as contained in Department of Health (DOH) Administrative Order No. 2010-0036 dated December 16, 2010, please be informed that the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has adopted a new Corporate Vision and Mission per PhilHealth Board Resolution (PBR) No. 1470, s. 2011 (Resolution Approving the New Philhealth Vision and Mission and Strategic Directions for the PhilHealth Medium Term Development Plans (MTDP) 2011-2016 duly signed on January 27, 2011 which provide as follows:

"Adequate and Affordable Social Health Insurance Coverage for ALL Filipinos"
(Sapat at Abot-kayang Segurong Pangkalusugan para sa Lahat)
MISSION"To ensure adequate financial access of every Filipino to quality health care services through the effective and efficient administration of the National Health Insurance Program (NHIP)".
