The Congress aims to assess the past performance, discuss and plan for future actions (including legislative measures) about important issues affecting the education sector like budget, salaries of both teaching and non-teaching personnel, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) problems and other issues and concerns of the education sector.
The new set of national executive officers and national council members will also be elected during this activity.
The target participants to this activity are administrators, teachers, and concerned personnel from both public and private schools.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
